My family moved here when I was a kid. The median home value here is around $483,400, which is pretty steep. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. You can expect to pay around $2,192 for rent here. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Appreciate any input. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
