Healthcare options in Holyoke?
Hi all, Military spouse here. It's a a smaller city city with about 37,949 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Holyoke sits at 858.7 per 100K. Rent is about $1,016/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up.
