Is it worth buying in Holyoke?

Curious what people think. Homes are going for about $255,300 on average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. the quality of life is solid. Worth doing your research before committing.
