Relocating to Homer Glen, IL -pros and cons?

Anyone else feel this way? My partner and I are The unemployment rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Homer Glen sits at 24.4 per 100K. Rent is about $1,737/month for a decent place. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Should I be concerned? Cheers. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Came here for work and stayed because the quality of life is solid. The school system is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

The food scene here is challenging. Tons of great Vietnamese places. it's improved dramatically in recent years.
