How is the nightlife in Homewood?

So, Been living here since 2013. It's a a smaller city city with about 27,697 people. The median home value here is around $502,300, which is pretty steep. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Is this normal for Homewood? Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Bought a house here in 2021 and the quality of life is solid. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..
