Dog-friendly places in Homewood?

Anyone else feel this way? My family moved here when I was a kid. The unemployment rate is 4.6%, which is about average. Homes are going for about $210,500 on average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value food scene, you'll love it. The healthcare is genuinely surprisingly good and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. My neighborhood (Cedar Grove) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Chicago, be prepared for the culture shock. job market is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
