Hi all, I'm a college student here and It's a a small town city with about 8,508 people. With a population of 8,508, Hondo is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Hondo sits at 380.6 per 100K. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Thoughts? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
