Biggest downsides of living in Honeygo?

OK so We have two kids and Rent is about $1,224/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 0.9%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $463,500, which is pretty steep. Homes are going for about $463,500 on average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 7 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
