Random thought, The median home value here is around $318,600, which seems about average. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What neighborhoods would you suggest? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I've lived in Downtown for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- The cultural scene scene is solid
The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Road conditions need improvement
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for singles. Hope this helps!.
