It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Worth the trade-offs? The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Used to live on the Lakewood side, now on the Maple Ridge side. Completely different vibe. it's been a really good experience overall.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The cost of living is honestly surprisingly good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
