Been meaning to ask this. Crime rate is something to consider -Horseheads sits at 277.8 per 100K. Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Has anyone dealt with this? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
