Internet providers in Hot Springs?

Hey everyone, I'm a 46-year-old data analyst and Homes are going for about $156,900 on average. With a population of 38,023, Hot Springs is a smaller city. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Should I be concerned? Thanks in advance! Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd watch out for is housing market. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

I'm a project manager and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. The community is better than expected and there's always something going on.

I work in tech here and the quality of life is solid. The job market for my field is better than expected. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Sunset. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is nightlife. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in East for 10 years. Moved from Raleigh for quality of life. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is tough. We bought in 2016 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable.

**Employment:**
education is strong here. education is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are affordable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor scene is pretty good - we have mountains within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. East schools are challenging. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Limited public transit options. Not a lot of cultural diversity. And community vibe can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For singles, I'd say this is a 5/10. Feel free to reach out with questions.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

I've lived in Meadowbrook for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The job market scene is decent

The downsides:
- Can feel isolated
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a accountant, 36, moved here 5 years ago from Seattle. I've lived in South and West, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Growing food and restaurant scene
2. Active local events and festivals
3. Affordable housing options
4. The people are generally pretty good - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Summers can be brutally hot
2. Limited entertainment options
3. The healthcare situation is growing and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- South: Great for remote workers. hit or miss vibes, walkable.
- West: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Seattle, everything felt average. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are stable. Gas is wild. You can live comfortably on $90K-$100K here.

**Final verdict:**
Hope this helps!. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if pet-friendliness matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Hot take but I have mixed feelings honestly. I know a lot of people disagree but after 14 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.
