Anyone else feel this way? I grew up here but left for a while. Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. The median home value here is around $156,900, which is actually reasonable. You can expect to pay around $902 for rent here. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Worth the trade-offs? Thanks in advance! People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
