Working in Howell -salaries realistic?

Hi all, I'm a college student here and The unemployment rate is 2.1%, which is pretty low. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Should I be concerned? Thanks! People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Seattle about 8 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Active local events and festivals
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Dating scene is rough
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are established, gas is average.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Feel free to reach out with questions..
