Is Hudson a good place to live?

Hey folks, I'm originally from New York and You can expect to pay around $2,219 for rent here. With a population of 23,007, Hudson is a small town. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Looking forward to hearing from you all. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 5 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I've been here 12 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into running, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Highland side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
