My partner and I are The unemployment rate is 1.0%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $355,000 on average. Rent is about $1,377/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Hudson sits at 135.0 per 100K. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Does this match your experience? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- The pet-friendliness scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
