Moving to Hughson for work -advice?

Curious what people think. I'm retired and Household incomes average around $92,303 in Hughson. You can expect to pay around $1,767 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $480,100 on average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What are your go-to spots? Thanks for reading. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Worth doing your research before committing.
