Is public transit usable in Humacao zona urbana?

I grew up here but left for a while. Median household income is $21,366, which feels on the lower side for the area. Poverty rate is 37.0%, which is higher than I expected. The city has invested a lot in new development. Am I wrong here? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 4 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the pet-friendliness is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Lakewood side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Four distinct seasons
- The housing market scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Urban sprawl is real

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for couples. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
