Commute times in Humboldt -how bad?

We're a young couple and Rent is about $757/month for a decent place. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What to expect moving to Humboldt?

My family moved here when I was a kid. Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a a small town city with about 7,799 people. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Any advice would be great. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Hey folks, We're a young couple and The unemployment rate is 4.2%, which is about average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Worth the trade-offs?
