Hey, Just moved here 12 months ago and With a population of 1,997, Hunter is a small town. The median home value here is around $163,100, which is actually reasonable. Rent is about $684/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Hunter sits at 410.4 per 100K. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Thoughts? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
