What Hunters Creek does better than anywhere else

First post here. Military spouse here. Average temperature is around 73--F, so it's warm year-round. Household incomes average around $99,942 in Hunters Creek. The median home value here is around $426,000, which is pretty steep. Homes are going for about $426,000 on average. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Low crime in most areas
- Good schools
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons:
- Limited dining options
- High property taxes
- Limited cultural events
Is this normal for Hunters Creek? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Old Town. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in legal. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Hope this helps!.
