Anyone else love living in Huntersville?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but Poverty rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,742/month for a decent place. With a population of 62,458, Huntersville is a smaller city. Median household income is $119,951, which feels pretty solid for the area. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
Pros:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Walkable downtown
- Active local events
Cons:
- Not very walkable
- High property taxes
- Boring for young people
- Not enough green space
