Day-to-day life in Huntersville, NC
Not sure if this has been asked before, but Born and raised here. It's a a smaller city city with about 62,458 people. Household incomes average around $119,951 in Huntersville. Median household income is $119,951, which feels pretty solid for the area. The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
