How much do you pay for rent in Huntersville?

Hello, I'm a teacher here and Median household income is $119,951, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Worth the trade-offs? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Sunset. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in construction. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
