Rent vs buy in Huntersville -what makes sense?

Hey everyone, Military spouse here. Median household income is $119,951, which feels pretty solid for the area. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Thoughts? Appreciate any input. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I work in construction here and it exceeded my expectations. The job market for my field is decent. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
