First time home buyer in Huntington Beach

I'm a college student here and With a population of 196K, Huntington Beach is a mid-size city. Poverty rate is 4.6%, which is pretty low. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Would love some local perspective.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem solid.

I've been here 5 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
