Best neighborhoods in Huntington
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I've been here for 7 years and Rent is about $852/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $51,220 in Huntington. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I wrong here? The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
