Worst things about Huntington Park nobody talks about
Hey folks, We have two kids and Median household income is $56,952, which feels about average for the area. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Thoughts? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.
I've been here 9 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is underrated.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Riverside side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
