Rent vs buy in Huntington Station -what makes sense?

So, I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $129,121 in Huntington Station. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. The suburbs are where most families end up. Am I overthinking this? Any help is appreciated.
