OK so I'm originally from San Francisco and It's a a small town city with about 13,250 people. The median home value here is around $536,200, which is pretty steep. Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. The unemployment rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because I genuinely enjoy living here. The school system is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is excellent in most areas.
