So, Been living here since 2021. Household incomes average around $99,580 in Huntington. Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Thoughts? Any help is appreciated. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Hope this helps!.

I've lived in Uptown for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Four distinct seasons
- The food scene scene is tough
The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Property taxes are high
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Definitely worth checking out..
