How is Huntington Woods for outdoor activities?

OK so It's a a small town city with about 6,322 people. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Looking forward to hearing from you all.

As someone who grew up here, it's been a really good experience overall. A lot has changed in the past few years though. dating scene used to be much manageable but now it's surprisingly good.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value community vibe, you'll love it. The community vibe is genuinely underrated and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (North) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Portland, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Summers can be brutally hot.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from San Diego about 1 years ago. The main reasons were family and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Decent public transit for the size
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are stable, gas is pretty good.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Good luck with whatever you decide..
