Why I chose Huntington over bigger cities
I'm a teacher here and The unemployment rate is 4.3%, which is about average. Rent is about $863/month for a decent place. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
