Moving to Huntingtown with kids -good idea?

Alright, My partner and I are With a population of 2,634, Huntingtown is a small town. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Let me know your thoughts. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Bought a house here in 2021 and the quality of life is solid. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

The food scene here is excellent. Tons of great Indian places. I genuinely enjoy living here.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are improving, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is healthcare. Other than that, Hope this helps!.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good healthcare facilities
- The walkability scene is tough

The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. No regrets on my end..
