Curious what people think. Crime rate is something to consider -Huntley sits at 14.4 per 100K. Poverty rate is 5.4%, which is pretty low. With a population of 27,859, Huntley is a smaller city. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
