Hey everyone, I grew up here but left for a while. With a population of 39,912, Hurst is a smaller city. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Am I overthinking this? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Came here for school and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The food scene is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Worth doing your research before committing.
