I'm a teacher here and Household incomes average around $50,263 in Hurt. It's a a small town city with about 1,382 people. Poverty rate is 8.4%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Should I be concerned? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
