First post here. We're a young couple and Crime rate is something to consider -Hutchinson sits at 378.4 per 100K. With a population of 39,837, Hutchinson is a smaller city. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Let me know your thoughts.

Used to live on the Cedar Grove side, now on the Meadowbrook side. Completely different vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Midtown. It's solid for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in retail. If you're in marketing you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Italian.
