Anyone work in healthcare in Hutchinson?

OK so Homes are going for about $210,300 on average. It's a a small town city with about 14,629 people. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What do you all think? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Used to live on the Fairview side, now on the Meadowbrook side. Completely different vibe. it was the best decision I ever made.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I'm still on the fence after all this time. No regrets on my end..

I've lived in Greenfield for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Active local events and festivals
- The job market scene is decent

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for retirees. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

We moved here with our family and it's exactly what I was looking for. Schools in Midtown area are average. Kids love it here.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Lakewood. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in engineering. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in West. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in finance. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
