Day-to-day life in Hutto, TX

Been meaning to ask this. I relocated for work and The unemployment rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it's not perfect but it works for me. Compared to Portland it's surprisingly good.

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.

Came here for weather and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The healthcare is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
