Why I chose Hutto over bigger cities

Hey folks, Been living here since 2017. It's a a smaller city city with about 32,188 people. Median household income is $115,149, which feels pretty solid for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. What neighborhoods would you suggest? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Used to live on the Springfield side, now on the Pine Hills side. Completely different vibe. it's been a really good experience overall.

I work in government here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is solid. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.
