Been meaning to ask this. Military spouse here. Homes are going for about $117,300 on average. Rent is about $757/month for a decent place. With a population of 1,071, Hyde is a small town. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Is this normal for Hyde? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
