Idabel in the winter -how bad?
Hi all, Just moved here 1 months ago and Poverty rate is 26.7%, which is higher than I expected. Rent is about $701/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Idabel sits at 630.9 per 100K. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Does this match your experience? The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
