Curious what people think. We're a young couple and Poverty rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. Is this normal for Idylwood? Cheers.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is pretty good in most areas.

I've lived in The Heights for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good airport with direct flights
- The school system scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Property taxes are high
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
