Is Ilchester still affordable?

OK so Military spouse here. Homes are going for about $498,500 on average. With a population of 27,552, Ilchester is a smaller city. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What are your go-to spots?

I work in real estate here and it was the best decision I ever made. The job market for my field is tough. No regrets on my end..

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are affordable. You get used to it after the first year.
