Not sure if this has been asked before, but Crime rate is something to consider -Immokalee sits at 1,103.0 per 100K. With a population of 25,624, Immokalee is a smaller city. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Is this normal for Immokalee? Appreciate any input. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
