Unpopular opinion about Imperial Beach

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Rent is about $1,914/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 5.1%, which is about average. Pros:
- Low taxes
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong sense of community

Cons:
- Hot summers
- Cold winters
- Far from major airports
