Been living here since 2023. You can expect to pay around $1,396 for rent here. Rent is about $1,396/month for a decent place. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

I work in hospitality here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is pretty good. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Phoenix and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Downtown. It's decent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in finance. If you're in engineering you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Korean.
Hope this helps!.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want food scene, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The food scene is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. pet-friendliness used to be much stable but now it's surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Cedar Grove. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in education. If you're in legal you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: average. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Salt Lake City it's excellent.
