Housing in Independence compared to San Francisco

OK so I'm a remote worker and It's a a mid-size city city with about 122K people. You can expect to pay around $1,061 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $166,400 on average. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want job market, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
