Hey, My partner and I are Crime rate is something to consider — Independence sits at 589.2 per 100K. Household incomes average around $59,480 in Independence. Homes are going for about $166,400 on average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I overthinking this? The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
